Castello di Salorno Chiamato anche Haderburg, il castello si trova presso il paese più a sud dell'Alto Adige, a Salorno. Il Castello di Salorno risale all'era medioevale e si trova arroccato su di uno spuntone roccioso, sopra l'omonimo paese Salorno nella Bassa Atesina. Qui si trova anche il confine linguistico del Trentino-Alto Adige, cioè il confine tra il tedesco e l'italiano. Il castello è uno dei monumenti più importanti della regione. I Conti di Salorno ordinarono la costruzione della fortificazione a monte nel XIII secolo. Negli anni seguenti, il castello ebbe vari proprietari: prima il castello passò in possesso dei Conti di Tirolo e verso 1284 a Mainardo II di Tirolo-Gorizia. Nel XIV secolo la casata degli Asburgo prese possesso del castello. Nel 1514 l'Imperatore Massimiliano I fece ampliare e ristrutturare il Castello di Salorno. Ma purtroppo il castello perse poco dopo ogni significato strategico e fu di seguito abbandonato. Dal XVII secolo (1648) fino al giorno d'oggi il castello è in possesso della famiglia Conti Zenobio-Albrizzi, provenienti dal Veneto. Il Castello di Salorno ancora oggi è molto impressionante, però disabitato. L'attuale proprietario, Barone Ernesto Rubin de Cervin Albrizzi, ha realizzato con il sostanziale contributo della Provincia di Bolzano la consolidazione ed il restauro della struttura fortificata. Dal 2003 quindi il castello è di nuovo accessibile al pubblico. Lungo un ripido sentiero di 890 m che porta il nome "Sentiero delle visioni" si raggiunge il castello in venti minuti.
