con Nikon TC-17E II, 1/3200 f/7.1, ISO 1250, tripod. Specie: Ficedula hypoleuca

Storie di Piume. Purtroppo la messa a fuoco cade più sul ramo che sulla scena, ma volevo mostrare lo stesso questa immagine per la prontezza dei riflessi della Balia nera nel catturare al volo l'insetto. Stavo osservando la Balia nera posata sul ramo, distante circa 10 metri dal capanno dove mi trovavo. Cominciai a scattare mentre la Balia girava la testa a destra e a sinistra, pensai che il rumore degli scatti la disturbassero, così mi fermai e all'improvviso la Balia fece un balzo di lato come per volare via, provai a scattare prima che se ne andasse e questo è il risultato. In pratica lei non spiccò il volo per andare via, ma per catturare l'insetto che le girava intorno, ecco perché spostava la testa a destra e a sinistra. Io da quella distanza non riuscivo a vedere bene il piccolo insetto. L'imperfezione della messa a fuoco sulla scena credo sia causata dal soggetto, molto più veloce rispetto ai miei riflessi nello scattare, la definizione ne risente anche forse per un leggero micro mosso e un po' di rumore. Per recuperare qualcosa in PP credo si poteva fare di meglio. Comunque per me è valido come documento che rappresenta le abitudini ed il momento colto della Balia nera, perché come il Pigliamosche cattura insetti al volo partendo da posatoi elevati.
