You are right of course, it`s a bit of a shame, to take the colors of this beautiful bird. Maybe it should even be a crime ?.
I was waiting for an osprey, when this kingfisher , landed in the shadows, and i did not expose it correct, so i had to brighten it up quite a bit, but i was not satisfied, with the results. So i tried Black and white, and i actually quite like the mood it gives to picture. I did get some fine color picture of the bird after this though.
