Guarda, per come lavora Photomatix con le impostazioni automatiche è un buon risultato....Prova a variare un pò manualmente i parametri dei sample che ti da, con un pò di pratica puoi raggiungere risultati decisamente migliori.

confesso però di non essere molto bravo a modificare l'inclinazione parziale nella foto, raddrizzare l'orizzonte o croppare non è un problema, ma quelle modifiche che dici non mi vengono mai bene, mi scombussolano sempre lo scatto.
PS orgoglioso di avere il tuo primo messaggio su una mia foto!!

Forse dico una cavolata ma dovrebbero dipendere dalla lente, magari prova con Lightroom, se ben ricordo ha i profili di correzione già definiti.
