3B've taken in JPG (or because like me you've downloaded the photo from the network), you can always use a method a little 'rougher, but always effective, with Photoshop: Image Menu / Settings / Curve. Just below the histogram that shows you, there are three dropper white point, gray point, the black point. Use the middle one (gray point) to have the operation that I described above and you'll see that changes the color rendering of the image. Then you can always adjust the effect by manually editing the curves of red, blue and green selecting the channel from the combo-box above the histogram.

Even less precise, but faster still, always in Photoshop: Image menu / Settings / Color Matching. Tick ??the "Counter". If the effect is too strong, you can mitigate the cursor to "fade". This isa very little known, but if you need to do a job does not necessarily perfect but fast, is very convenient.

Then I opened a little 'shadows, but do not overdo it with Image / Adjustments / Shadows lights.

Sorry if I was perhaps a little 'pedantic, but do not know what you are familiar with Photoshop, and then, make no mistake, I explained things in the simplest way possible.

Fabrizio
