Quel campanile mi ha da subito incuriosito e appena arrivato in paese e ho sperato di riuscire a fotografarlo degnamente, magari anche con le stelle. Dopo qualche giorno di tentativi falliti nel trovare una composizione che mi soddisfasse e diverse ore di sonno perse, finalmente trovo una strada periferica non illuminata che guarda proprio a sud ovest dove spunta la Via Lattea! Sale l'eccitazione: devo sbrigarmi prima che la via lattea si sposti e perda l'allineamento con il campanile. Per fortuna il tempo c'è, posiziono il cavalletto e provo a comporre con il 35mm e il 24mm; alla fine il 35mm vince, come sempre. So che devo fare diverse foto da unire e la mia mente oscilla tra il ragionamento razionale e l'eccitazione per il bellissimo panorama che ho davanti. Finito di scattare torno a casa saltellando come un bambino: non so se le foto appena fatte si trasformeranno in qualcosa di bello, ma il mix di prove, errori, frustrazioni, studio, cambi e ricerca è già di per sé un bellissimo modo di vivere il momento della fotografia, e so che questo, per me, è già abbastanza.
