Questa particolare vetturetta fu allestita dietro consiglio dell'avvocato Gianni Agnelli presso la Carrozzeria fondata dai fratelli Savio e sita in Torino per contrastare l'immissione sul mercato di altre simili vetture definite "spiaggette" da parte di altri costruttori negli anni '60... dello scorso secolo. La prima serie fu costruita dal 1965 al 1974 e montava il motore a 4 cilindri della Fiat 600 D poi il motore venne sostituto per un breve periodo con quello della Autobianchi A 112 (4 cilindri in linea di 903 cm3 e sviluppante 44 cavalli) ed alcuni prodotti dalla SEAT che lasciarono poi il posto al bicilindrico raffreddato ad aria della Fiat 500 R (592 cm3 e 18 cavalli). Infine venne montato quello della Fiat 126 (pure questo bicilindrico ma di 652 cm3 e con 24 cavalli di potenza). La carrozzeria era di tipo metallico (alcune avevano il cofano anteriore in vetroresina) con la capote e le portiere in tela (alcune hanno avuto codeste in lamiera stampata) e la produzione di queste "spiaggette" di derivazione Fiat dovrebbe aggirarsi sui 3200 esemplari per la 1° serie con il motore della Fiat 600 D e circa 250 esemplari per la 2° serie (questa nella fotografia) di cui circa 20 ancora circolanti.
