Thank you Daniele, I particularly appreciate the judgment of those who know the place photographed, sometimes I see shots of places near my house that distort reality instead of enhancing it or highlighting interesting aspects. For me it was the first time I visit Valmalenco and I loved it, both the Fellaria Glacier (in the Aosta Valley there are glaciers but not so close !) and the hike to the Carate hut. I've seen on the map that the ice basin above is still extensive, but certainly climate change and rising summer temperatures don't favor it.
