Tra le storie e la realtà c'è sempre una gran differenza. Di questo mi stavo rendendo conto sulle confortevoli strade asfaltate, tra le troppo comuni cittadine che visitavo. Ero davvero nella terra dei vampiri? Un luogo il cui nome evoca orrori e mostri come pochi altri? Ma da qualche parte la realtà si fonde immancabilmente con il mondo delle favole e dei racconti. Ed una volta abbandonata la pianura, seguendo una strada che con calma si insinua tra colline sempre più alte ed accuminate, in breve ci si ritrova circondati da una vegetazione che non lascia scampo. Ed in mezzo a quella foresta buia ed opprimente ho avuto un indizio su dove fossero nate tutte quelle fantasie dal gusto horror. E quasi a volermi accontentare anche il cielo si è messo d'accordo ed ha deciso che mi avrebbe mostrato cosa vuol dire essere arrabiati. E su quella strada in salita, per la prima volta ho cominciato a guardarmi intorno, alla ricerca di un ramo che avrei potuto usare come paletto.
