La lezione più importante che ho imparato da Vivian Maier è quanto sia importante scattare per l'amore che si ha per la fotografia. Per l'amore che esiste dentro di noi. Maier per tutta la vita ha scattato per strada ogni volta che ha avuto una pausa dal suo lavoro a tempo pieno come baby-sitter, e lo ha fatto per soddisfare qualcosa che era dentro di sé, senza mai mostrare il suo lavoro ad altri.
