Il fabbro Carlo Galgani dalle finestre magiche della sua antica ferriera del '700 racconta del tempo passato ma ha sempre uno sguardo ed un sorriso dolce verso il futuro. L'acqua il fuoco e la luce sono gli elementi cardini ed essenziali per il funzionamento della ferriera e ci ricordano che l'Uomo senza di essi non è nulla. Carlo con la sua saggia essenzialità e la sua energia è uno degli ultimi esempi di uno stile di vita forgiato dal lavoro volto alla produzione dell'utilità e mai alla ricerca dell'inutile. La ferriera, utilizzando materiali ferrosi di recupero, ha sempre generato strumenti di base per il lavoro umano. Lui stesso ora guarda da quelle finestre con la consapevolezza e la speranza che il nipote Nicola, ragazzo di antica umiltà e gentilezza, continuerà a far suonare la musica dell'acqua, del fuoco e del vento. Il mio augurio va a Nicola ed a tutti quelli che, come lui, riusciranno a non farsi ammaliare dal richiamo delle sirene del consumismo del dio denaro.
