Il lago Castel (o Kastel) si trova a 2224 mt in alta Val Formazza. Ampliato negli anni 20 del secolo scorso a scopo idroelettrico presenta una piccola diga, inutilizzata dagli anni '50 in quanto il terreno carsico permette il defluire delle acque da sotto il manufatto rendendola pertanto inutile. Gita piacevolissima in compagnia degli amici Massimo Schiavi e Duilio (Superventura) effettuata a luglio 2020. Scatto in appoggio precario su muretto a secco con filtro nd1000. Commenti e critiche sono sempre graditi.
