Questo ragno ha un comportamento particolare. A differenza di molti ragni non costruisce una ragnatela, ma un tubo di seta che parte da sottoterra e spunta per qualche centimetro sul terreno, ben mimetizzato.
Quando la preda passa sopra, il ragno avverte le vibrazioni e percorre il "calzino" di seta fino in superfice e qui con i sui possenti cheliceri "impala" la vittima. 
This spider has a particular behavior. Unlike most spiders do not build a web, but a tube of silk drawn from underground and check a few inches on the ground, well camouflaged.
When prey passes over, the spider feels the vibrations and go through the "sock" of silk to the surface here and with the powerful chelicerae "impala" the victim. :-) Questo ragno ha un comportamento particolare.
