at 26mm, tripod.

La costruzione risale dal XII ,XV sec.; è una torre medievale della campagna romana ( via casilina ) . Apparteneva alla Basilica Lateranense in epoca basso medievale x questo motivo chiamata torre di S.Giovanni . Mentre comincia ad essere nota come Torre di Centocelle solo nel XVI sec. quando entra a far parte dei beni della Fam. Capranica . Tutt'oggi si conserva ancora in uno stato relativamente buono , senza restauri x un altezza di 25 mt.
