at 32mm, Posa B f/4.0, ISO 800, tripod. Passo Giau, Italy.

Luglio 2020. Mondeval. Una vallata primordiale e selvaggia, incastonata tra i Lastoi e il Corvo Alto a formare un anfiteatro naturale, dove lo sguardo cade sempre sul protagonista della scena: il Pelmo. Mentre provavo a scattare in notturna dal Lago delle Baste con un medio tele, mi accorsi che in lontananza delle tende ostruivano la visuale. Le tende erano di una coppia di Udine conosciuta qualche ora prima e che avevano deciso di accamparsi in una posizione assolutamente invidiabile. A quel punto mi si e' accesa la lampadina... sfruttare le tende convertendole da elemento di disturbo ad elemento da integrare in primo piano. Mi avvicinai dunque e cominciai a fare varie prove con la lampada frontale accesa e poi spenta. Visto che le nubi iniziavano a dipanarsi montai sul cavalletto il mio fido astroinseguitore: 4 minuti di esposizione per catturare più luce possibile ed avere la massima qualità della Via Lattea. Non c'era vento, si stava bene. Mentre la D750 scattava tirai fuori un telo e mi sdraiai per terra, col naso all'insù, in un silenzio surreale, in uno dei posti più belli delle Dolomiti e, credo, al mondo. Il firmamento lasciava senza fiato. Ed in quei momenti non mi importava più nulla della foto o di tutto il resto. Ero libero da pensieri, contento così, sazio di soddisfazione.
