Questa Mercedes Benz AMG (Aufrecht Melcher Großaspach) venne commercializzata dal 2014 in versione GT... mentre la versione GT R... questa nella fotografia... apparve sul mercato nel 2016. Dotata di carrozzeria in alluminio è dotata di un motore V8 biturbo di 3982 cm3 erogante 584 cavalli di potenza per una velocità massima di quasi 320 chilometri orari. La vettura è stata prodotta in 6 versioni Coupé e 4 versioni Cabriolet dotate dello stesso motore ma erogante potenze differenti in base alla sua elaborazione. Solo la GT 3 è dotata di un differente motore: un V8 aspirato di 6208 cm3 erogante oltre 500 cavalli per una velocità massima di oltre 330 chilometri orari. Tutte le versioni hanno la trazione posteriore.
