Fabio

Undoubtedly original, but how do you get the colors?

Grazie Fabius e JohnSorriso

Thanks Fabius and John :-)
To achieve the colors I worked with PS duplicating the layer, and then the 2nd level I saturated the colors (a lot), I blurred a bit and then I superimposed the two levels by adjusting saturation and opacity to get the desired effect.
I state that the colors have a meaning, or blue areas indicate abundance of titanium and land mainly lava, while areas in orange / red / yellow areas indicate the oldest and poorest of iron and titanium :-)

I've always wondered what color is actually the moon, we are too used to seeing it in B / W from Earth because of our atmosphere, but also shooting from the ISS show more or less as we see it here. On the lunar surface, however, should start to see all the color characteristics of the mineral surface even in the absence of atmosphere, but I think you have to keep in mind that in a few billion years on the surface of the Moon was deposited a nice layer of carbon attracted by the force of lunar gravity , a powder that although thin, is always present in the absolute void even within our solar system. If we add the dust released by the impacts of asteroids fallen on the planet, that are thousands and thousands of years dating back to hundreds of years ago, it is clear that under the greasepaint ashen should intravvedersi the true color dovute to the presence mineral surface .... I guess so with a bit of imagination as in reality the moon should appear, just as you did with the photo editing photo .... Somewhere I have also seen how the moon should appear if it were in the presence of Earth's atmosphere:-D
