, 30 sec f/2.8, ISO 800, tripod.

Neowise, the mosaic: On the evening of July 19, I had decided to use the 400mm telephoto lens to take advantage of its brightness of F / 2.8. Looking at the individual shots, I quickly realized that the comet was much larger than what I could see through the preview on the dispaly, so I decided to try to compose a mosaic of three parts, to be joined in postproduction. Despite this my concern and the final field of view of 8.3 ° x5 °, you can see that the comet still cannot be contained in the image, but overall the vision is much more pleasant. Each frame resulted from the sum of 6 shots from 30 "at 800 ISO F / 2.8 on FF reflex. I attach it both horizontally and vertically, so everyone uses it as they prefer.

I vote morally for it to go down among the EPs of the day.
Fantastic shooting, and really compliments is a really fine and smooth image. Contrast and color really of fantastic quality and in addition to this own worked with a good taste upstream of everything. Last night I went out with the telescope with the intention of shooting at
iso low-long times but I patched up great. Equatorial head motors blocked and strong wind rose. I came back with a couple of souvenir photos but nothing decent and I don't think I have time to rearrange an evening to try again. It's still nice to see that others did well, thank you for showing it.

Always a great job that makes exhaustive the view of the comet of the moment :-)
I tried my FF by shooting with the Tamron 70-300 both at a maximum of 300mm f4.5 and around 70-80mm f4 but was very disappointed by the poor quality of the result. In the end I tried with an old lens 50mm f1.8 and managed to combine something :-)

Wonderful Cristian, and thank you for the advice you gave me I managed to have a decent memory using an 85 1.8...I really like the irregularity of the second tail, it just gives the feeling of being there a few steps away to contemplate it

Well-managed mosaic and a great amount of detail in the second tail, too bad just for that noise on the end of the first ;-)
