Le gazze (Pica pica) rappresentano una piccola sfida per il fotografo naturalista. Presenti un po ovunque sono, tuttavia, soggetti generalmente diffidenti e scarsamente avvicinabili. Nell'Oasi di Cervara, grazie alla protezione offerta dalla riserva, ormai questi corvidi sono ospiti quotidiani delle mangiatoie. Una giornata nevosa è stata la situazione ideale per ridurre ancora di più la loro diffidenza.
