I tried for a while to pluck this beautiful specimen, I've seen circling in the valleys Maremma more than once when going out a little longer.

Saturday morning after a somewhat poor with CF empty, I was presented the Red Kite Royal. I must say it was a wonderful meeting.

Thank you all. I know this Nibbio few years, but only on Saturdays deigned to pass by while arguing with a crow for a prey that is hardly distinguishable from the photos. (In other shots that I need to develop). +

Good question Maximus.

Looking at the Collins and from my experience poor bird I have no doubt that he is a Red Kite Royal (otherwise I would not know what else may be).

One thing I noticed however is that the maximum extension (soaring) the tail has a less pronounced. In turn tends to shake that appear much forked and similar to "swallow".
