Stavamo osservando da più di un'ora questo ghepardo che sorvegliava a distanza un bel gruppo di gazzelle di Thomson. All'improvviso si è messo in guardia (foto) e poi si è diretto al trotto verso un gruppo di elefanti che si stava dirigendo verso le gazzelle. Al momento ho pensato, "questo è pazzo attacca un elefantino?" La strategia invece consisteva nell'accodarsi a distanza agli elefanti per avvicinarsi non visto alle gazzelle. Purtoppo per lui e per noi, gli elefanti hanno cambiato direzione e lui è rimasto allo scoperto, le gazzelle lo hanno visto, sono scappate e lui è rimasto a pancia vuota... e noi senza foto della caccia....
