Parto dall'idea. Devo ammettere che a una prima occhiate questa pianta mi ripugnava fortemente e dunque seguendo questa linea di pensiero ho costruito gli aspetti cardine della foto. Innanzitutto la scelta del bianco e nero è nata dall'osservazione che le pp dei concorrenti in bnw trasformavano i gambi in oggetti fotografati a raggi X e se giocati con un certo livello di attenzione l'effetto poteva essere molto ripugnante se non altro per la quantità di protuberanze. Sembrano quasi spermatozoi o girini che navigano in fluido. Fatto ciò l'esaltare il fiore in primo piano e quello a sinsitra è stata solo una logica conseguenze, in fondo quello più a destra pare una testa con i denti e l'altro una specie di fiore tossico in stile Alien.
Per quanto riguarda la tecnica ho semplicemente giarto l'inquadraturta per dargli una forma più dinoccolata e ho clonato per coprire le zone mancanti, poi ho elaborato lo scatto in silver efex, fatto due selezioni per far spiccare un poco gli aculei della "testa" in primo piano e poi con correzione colore selettiva ho fatto una mistura di vari colori per ottenere un bianco e nero acido per via del giallo e dei rossi. Ho cercato di dare alla pp uin tono comunque elegante di modo che rappresentasse meglio una certa ferocia silente e imprevedibile, quasi fosse il momento prima che il fiore si apre e ti mangia la faccia.

Very nice as handling whites and blacks, but as for the other pp I do not like the little air at the top near the corner, the dry flower cut from frame edge does not work...
