Seppur ben incastonato sulle colline e circondato da prati e sentieri il parco di Monte Sole è testimonianza di quanto la bestia umana si possa spingere, passeggiando per qualche chilometro è possibile visitare i resti dei luoghi dove sono avvenute le stragi. Un film "L'uomo che verrà" racconta la storia di quelle notti di fine estate che videro numerose famiglie e paesi interi essere spazzati via.
