A composition that I really like. The "grain" effect makes photography even more enjoyable. A curiosity, if I am not too indirectly indestined : coma never F/20 ? Thank you. A greeting! Grazie. Un saluto ! |

Thank you Maurizio :-) the grain is 'built' to the PC, because, as you saw well, the photo was made in the 'my period' of maximum sharpness and image cleansing... In the meantime, however, I totally changed my taste and I got to use almost always 800/1600 ISO and open diaphragms... so, for the photos taken earlier, I have to scramble as best I can: zero sharpness, grain to the max, or almost, and masking of 'dirty' image. Of course, with diaphragm f20 and ISO 100 I can not work miracles, even if coming to a result that already satisfies my 'dirty' and 'not sharp' period. ciaaaooo ;-) Grazie Maurizio la grana è 'costruita' al PC, perché, da come hai visto tu bene, la foto è stata fatta nel 'mio periodo' di massima nitidezza e pulizia d'immagine... nel frattempo, però, ho cambiato totalmente i miei gusti e sono arrivato a usare quasi sempre 800/1600 ISO e diaframmi apertissimi... quindi, per le foto scattate in precedenza, devo arrabattarmi come meglio posso: nitidezza zero, grana al massimo, o quasi, e mascherature di 'sporcamento' dell'immagine. Ciaaaooo |

Mah.....! ....".... zero sharpness, grain to the max, or almost, and masking of 'dirty' image" For me, is .... Sanskrit. ;-) For me, "photography" is made up of iso, times and diaphragms. Point ;-) I'm another way to do it.... photograph, the PP. Thanks for your clarifications.... :-) A !!! greeting Mah.....! |

For everyone photography is made of ISO, times and diaphragms... but, as you know, it is the different combinations that lead to a different but determined and desired result. Thothoths what I meant, was that once the result I wanted was maximum sharpness, greater depth of field and non-existent grain, while now - as precisely said - I want the least sharpness (always present - and too much, for me - with current sensors), the overall one above all, the shallow depth of field and the whole also 'dirty' by a slight, or a little more, grain (always fascinating, even if there is no longer the beauty of the analog). PP use it little too, even avoided in 99% of cases to switch to PS, settling for the natural, and inevitable, corrections of LR: exposure, white, black, vignette, grain if desired.
