Fantastic image, like this extraordinary meeting.
I fully understand the anecdote you are telling.
I also sometimes find that some birds seem to have blind faith in us. A similar anecdote happened to me with a "fiorrancino" which forced me to back up (MAP mini 1m40).
I could have touched it without problem!
Compliments,
Renaud

Hello, nice cultured moment, great composition... from my pc I see a slight blue dominant on the subject perhaps in shadow ...

Very nice photo with the subject taken in a very particular moment. I agree with Andrea for the slight dominant. Really interesting caption.

Apart from the dominant that in post is easily eliminated, I would really like to know where you found this Fratino, since I, even if I am from your area, has never happened to such a confidant!! Congratulations great shot

When you manage to get to know our feathered and non-feathered friends, photography takes a back seat, better to fully live those moments as you did.... Well done and congratulations again

In fact, you should revise the white balance to eliminate the cyan cast.
Truly a unique experience. Congratulations also for the images of the Squirrel.
