Scatto singolo, no crop, Aquilegia chrysantha 'Yellow Queen'. Una perenne di origine nordamericana, vigorosa e che si dissemina facilmente. Ha foglie glauche e fiori gialli, con lunghi speroni, inizialmente piegati verso il basso e poi disposti in orizzontale alla sommità degli alti steli. La specie è tipicamente diffusa anche in Italia in zone boschive ombreggiate. In giardino la posizione migliore è in terreno fertile, drenato, a mezzombra, dove la pianta possa essere raggiunta da alcune ore di sole che permettano lo sviluppo di piante sane e forti. In ombra troppo intensa tendono a perdersi nel tempo e disseminandosi cercano posizioni più soleggiate e terreno ben drenato, anche ghiaioso. Rispetto ad altre specie sopporta bene anche un numero maggiore di ore di sole al giorno. Commenti e consigli ben graditi e come sempre un caro saluto a tutti.
