Proprio perchè ho visionato (e seguo già da un po') le altre foto che hai fatto a questo soggetto, ti dico che a mio parere questa immagine è un gradino al di sotto delle altre. La luce è bellissima, la nitidezza è al top, ma per me è troppo stretta. Mi spiego meglio: hai fatto altri ritratti stretti, in cui però la posizione del soggetto era migliore, "ci stava meglio" nel fotogramma. Questa non mi entusiasma.
Ovviamente, tutte considerazioni di chi osserva un ottimo lavoro, possibile solo grazie a grande pazienza e dedizione: la costruzione di un capanno non è facile...far avvicinare un picchio a quella distanza poi...Complimenti.

Just because I have viewed (and follow it for a while ') the other photos you've done to this subject, I tell you that in my opinion this is a step below the others. The light is beautiful, the sharpness is on top, but for me it is too narrow. Let me explain: you've done other portraits tight, but where the position of the subject was better, "it was better" in the frame. This is not too keen.
Of course, all considerations of the beholder a great job, only possible with great patience and dedication: the construction of a shed ... it is not easy to bring a woodpecker at that distance then ... Congratulations.

ho volutamente ricercato questo scatto "senza respiro" un po' per sfida e un po' per capire il livello di fiducia raggiunto tra me e l' esemplare...ho sfruttato al massimo le possibilita del limite di messa a fuoco e l' occhio si trova al limite estremo/alto/destro della 1DX.
Un NO CROP con ottica fissa....avessi avuto uno zoom le cose erano diverse.

I purposely wanted this shot "without breath" a bit 'a challenge and a bit' to understand the level of trust achieved between me and 'exemplary ... I took full advantage of the possibilities of the limit of focus and' eye is the extreme limit / top / right corner of the 1DX.
A NO CROP with fixed .... I had a zoom, things were different.
