tripod. Etna, Italy.

Beautiful document.
I would have called it "The Sword in the Rock..."
I'd make me think of that... :-P
Compliments.

Beautiful, it would look like the remains of a much larger ice sheet, a small melting glacier, you can also see from the space around the rock at the bottom where the ice is detached.
bath?
I was as @Nicolò as ever

Unfortunately, the amount of ice is always minimal, thanks to the rise in temperatures that negatively affect the conservation of the ice.

Hello everyone and thank you.
@Sebinobmfi
More than anything else much of the ice comes from the water that filters from the rock above which then freezes :-) Then that it is retreating is unfortunately true, both because it is now warmer and because of global warming.

Median 4 and a half hours to go and as many to return. Then it depends on how many stops you make, even photo. They should be about 16 km A/R.

Meanwhile nice photo congratulations
If it is the cave of frost then the temperature is not 6 degrees Constant if anything of 6 degrees Celsius below zero constants, otherwise the ice would melt. So that there is ice even in the summer ;-)

You're absolutely right, I was wrong to write... "-" is missing :-)
I correct the description and thanks to you and Sergio also for the appreciation.

Except, there's no shame in it. In fact, few visit it. If you have the opportunity I recommend you go there because beyond the cave (beautiful) is the route (long) that also offers outdated and fascinating scenarios.
Thank you and good Fulvio!
