tocchi un punto importante, il tuo dubbio e' il mio dubbio.
In realta' si tratta di una vessata questione: ogni foto e' un'opera a sé o e' l'insieme che fa l'opera? La domanda e' ben posta in relazione al fatto che la fotografia e' un'arte minore. Quando ad esempio si parla di opere pittoriche, non si sente dire che un de Chirico sta male a fianco di un Carra'. Nella galleria in b&w sull'India, come avrai notato, ho cercato un'uniformita' di linguaggio, con eccezioni. Ho invece sistematicamente permesso a me stesso di cambiare il taglio, dando alle fotografie le proporzioni che piu' mi parevano adeguate alla singola immagine. Poi, va da sé che tutto dipende dall'uso che si fa del corpo di immagini nel suo complesso, che esse vengano inserite in un libro, esposte in una galleria, o tenute in un cassetto per il piacere personale di rivederle.

quello di queste tue foto è il genere fotografico che attira la mia attenzione, che apprezzo di più (e che so fare di meno, anzi non so fare proprio)
in questo genere secondo me anche la foto che si distingue tra tutte le altre per soggetto, inquadratura, ecc., in fondo fa (o dovrebbe fare) sempre parte di un racconto...
per quanto riguarda il taglio mi trovi pienamente d'accordo, anzi mi pare doveroso esaminare il fotogramma e scegliere le proporzioni più giuste tagliando quello che non serve (io lo faccio sistematicamente)
non è che una inquadratura debba essere per forza essere giusta in 2/3 o 3/4
