Nel Castello di Torrechiara rivive una fiaba d'amore.
Regno della favola d'amore tra Pier Maria Rossi e l'amata Bianca Pellegrini: è il Castello di Torrechiara, in provincia di Parma. Tutto parla della loro passione in stile epico-cavalleresco: dalla Camera d'Oro, attribuita a Benedetto Bembo, alla stanza nuziale. La Rocca d'impianto quattrocentesco, turrita ed elegante, affascinò scrittori e registi: fu set del celebre film Ladyhawke. Il nome Torrechiara deriva da "torchio” nel cuore della valle dove si producono vini oggi ed olio nel medioevo. Pochi sanno che il Castello fu posto sotto la protezione della Madonna, per volere di Pier Maria Rossi devoto alla Vergine: iniziò infatti la sua costruzione nel mese di maggio del 1448. Oggi di proprietà dello Stato è tra gli esempi più significativi dell'architettura castellare italiana. Da notare all'interno la ricchezza degli affreschi a 'grottesche' di Cesare Baglione. |
