La lotta per la vita. Un gabbiano tenta di tuffarsi per "afferrare" la sua preda nel mucchio di pulli di smergo che beatamente seguivano la mamma in rigorosa fila indiana. Fuggi fuggi generale ... e mamma smergo con tutta la forza che solo una mamma può avere per difendere i suoi piccoli si è "incacchiata" di brutto. Alla fine il gabbiano se l'è data a gambe levate e la mamma ha radunato di nuovo i suoi piccoli allontanandosi velocemente dal luogo di battaglia.
