ciao;-)

by Venetian moooooolto are selective, so much so that on my website I have not even posted a photo on the theme.
I'm here on the topic after the competition ;-)
for me the Carnival of Venice has not existed for several years.
I am now the zombie costume walking through the city, 99% use plastic masks, I think a good percentage are foreigners and another large percentage is paid by the municipality to make presence.
Venetian style masks were something else these costumes are crazy fantasies aborted by minds. also find them every year and always the same.
the carnebale of the people, the Venetians no longer there. certainly one that sees it the first time can seem fascinating, but I assure you it has nothing of the spirit of the Venetian carnival.
change has several reasons some are attributable to the Venetians who have not had the love to grow an old tradition,
letting it run by incompetent and ignorant about local history.
you could talk for long on Venetian carnival ......
Personally I do not find that this shooting as to be mentioned ... I dare not think the photos discarded. :-D
however, you brought home a recognition that not everyone ;-)
hello ;-)

Ciao Falena,

;-)

Hello Moth,

I attend Venice for many years, I am not a novice to the carnival.

Personally know most of the masks that populate Venice and are for the majority French.

This has had an "mestizo" masks who took only a distant influence of the true Venetian mask, the one with the "dumb" so to speak, and they crossed with the tradition of French dolls.

I know many Venetian families and many of them do not live so badly even though they admit that the carnival at least 25 years is no longer the same thing.

But I also know many craftsmen who build venice masks for costumes today, so now you have created a blend of glthe inhabitants of Venice and the "invaders" especially French.

Now when I go to the carnival I do it just to meet old friends, to enjoy the most beautiful city in the world and eat cod fish.

Maybe at the end of February we meet and I'll buy you a coffee.

;-)

buona luce;-)

Paco unfortunately I have become allergic to the city of Venice :-| legacy we have too much of my life .....
masks for the bulk of production is from Albania ........ but few know and many Venetian artisans use it to stay concorenziali with their prices, there is very little authentic.
The French do not understand anything of Venice and this is the result.
do you want to eat a fry serious? or typical fish? perhaps you already know ..... at the foot of the bridge of three arches, side station, there is a small tavern .....
coffee thanks maybe from another part ;-) ;-)
good light ;-)
