Dopo anni di ricerca alla fine siamo riusciti a trovare la fantomatica Lampreda di mare, un vertebrato che vive passa la sua vita mare aperto attaccato a grandi pesci come tonni e cetacei, e nel periodo primaverile risale i fiumi per andare a deporre le uova. Il suo destino è triste in quanto il cambio da acqua salata a me acqua dolce e la “mutazione” che deve affrontare per il viaggio è tale da costargli la vita. Un tempo asbbastanza comune negli ultimi anni la sua popolazione si è drasticamente ridotta fino ad oggi dove ne rimangono pochi esemplari che con sempre più difficoltà riescono a nidificare nonostante siano stati stanziati fondi e progetti per la sua tutela
