What I propose today is one of the galactic areas with the richest and most intricate nebulosities. In the heart of the constellation of the Swan, the center of the "Northern Cross" is identified by the star Sadr, starting from this you can easily get to NGC6888, the note but enigmatic "Crescent nebula", at 4700 light years, visible on the right side of the photo. The image was taken with a modified full-frame reflex (Baader) and 400mm f2.8 full aperture lens, integrating 120 minutes of exposure. The location is the terrace of the house where I live, under a sky with a certain amount of light pollution which I partially limited with the use of a 2 "Idas D1 filter inserted in the lens drawer.
