A pochi chilometri dalla città, è un'importante area sciistica comodamente raggiungibile anche con i mezzi pubblici e lo skibus. Il Monte Bondone supera i 2000 metri ed è una terrazza naturale dalla quale spaziare sul panorama a 360 gradi di tutto il Trentino, dalle Dolomiti di Brenta all'Adamello. Per chi pratica lo sci alpino, un carosello di 19 piste con uno sviluppo complessivo di 20 chilometri su una superficie sciabile di 70 ettari al 100% dotate di innevamento artificiale, in grado di soddisfare sciatori di tutti i livelli. Da non perdere la Gran Pista, quasi 4 km e più di 800 m di dislivello per forti emozioni attraverso prati, conifere e betulle. Affermata meta di snowboarder il Monte Bondone offre durante tutta la stagione un ricco programma di eventi e gare nell'attrezzato snowpark. Nella vasta e soleggiata conca delle Viote ci sono gli anelli per lo sci di fondo che si snodano per oltre 37 chilometri tra la ricca vegetazione alpina.
