Ci sono paesaggi che diventano, loro malgrado , simboli di un luogo. Un vero e proprio marchio. Accade ad esempio in Toscana dove, in provincia di Siena, lungo la strada statale Cassia, dopo una curva compare all'improvviso la collina dei cipressi. E' diventato emblema della terra di Siena , se non della toscanità in generale. La collina dei cipressi vi apparirà all'improvviso al Km. 189, a metà strada tra San Quirico d'Orcia e Torrenieri. E' impossibile non sostare per una foto ricordo. Scatto eseguito una mattina di settembre 2015.
