La Fiat 500 C "Belvedere" fu costruita dal 1951 al 1955 andando a sostituire l'analogo modello definito "Giardiniera" dalla quale differiva per avere le fiancate in lamiera sagomata non più rivestite in legno. Costruita partendo dalla 500 C del 1949 aveva il passo più lungo. Dotata di trazione posteriore aveva il motore posto anteriormente che con i suoi 4 cilindri in linea di 569 cm3 sviluppava una potenza di 16,5 cavalli che portavano la vetturetta a raggiungere i 90 chilometri orari. Si può considerare un'antesignana dei moderni SUV di piccola cilindrata.
