La 500 C "Topolino" fu costruita dal 1949 al 1954 e rappresentò il 100° modello di vettura prodotto dalla Fiat. Dotata di trazione posteriore aveva il motore posto anteriormente che con i suoi 4 cilindri in linea di 569 cm3 sviluppava una potenza di 16,5 cavalli che portavano la vetturetta a raggiungere i 90 chilometri orari: il suo è il primo motore montato su una piccola vettura Fiat ad avere la testa in alluminio e non in ghisa. Rispetto alla sua progenitrice... la 500 B... sulla C divenne di serie la capote completamente reclinabile rendendola "Trasformabile" mentre l'avere il tetto in lamiera divenne un optional. Fu costruita anche da diverse aziende fuori dall'Italia su licenza della stessa Fiat. Il modello qui visibile nella fotografia è una delle Vetture Storiche dell'Esercito Italiano.
