I liked it to praise the audacity of the experiment.
The result still has something does not leave me completely convinced.
Fore the shadow that crosses the noses right where they overlap.
Forete makeup from the girls on the left that extends to the nose distracting a little who observes (unless it is so on purpose for artistic reasons and not functional to the reshaping of the face).
For the lack of a contact or expression that give an explicit sense to the pose so narrow.
Who is an element of innovation and challenge compared to the classic "Sparello style" portrait.
It can give interesting results by having all the technical and creative experience you have gained on the single face.
Naturally, it's just opinions dictated by personal taste.

Congratulations to the tenacity and dading this pose. I really like it.

It is as beautiful as it is disarming, the lack of physical and empathetic contact of the subjects makes the scene "wrong".
And that's probably why it's so magnetic, congratulations.

Pier

Your explanation proves, once again, how photography is the art of compromise rather than technique.
Only practice and creativity minimize them and you see it in your galleries.
I trust that the search for emotions "to two female faces", not necessarily obvious or vulgar, will lead you to explore new territories of emotional portraits. Just think of mom and daughter, sisters, friends. with all the endless emotional spectrum they can offer you. ;-)
