L'Alcova conserva ancora le decorazioni originali del Seicento. Preziosa e ricca di dorature, la Sala era la Camera da letto nuziale. L'ambiente è diviso in due parti da una struttura in legno intagliato e dorato: in alto un baldacchino con corona si apre mostrando il ritratto della regina regnante, mentre in basso i sostegni verticali mostrano figure femminili. Guardando queste figure con attenzione, notiamo che sono giovani donne in gravidanza: vogliono ricordare che nella Sala nasceva l'erede al trono. Nel tempo la Sala ha cambiato più volte ruolo: prima come piccola Sala da ballo, poi come sala di esposizione di alcuni vasi orientali tratti dalla ricchissima collezione sabauda. I vasi risalgono al Sei-Settecento, sono in porcellana cinese e giapponese dipinta a mano e presentano forme sottili (per contenere fiori) o curve con coperchi.
