Condivido la tua osservazione. Penso che il viso sia poco valorizzato perchè prende poca luce. La luce principale arriva, infatti, di rimbalzo dal piano di lavoro e per questo ne arriva meno al viso rispetto al corpo.
E' originata da un flash con gel CTO piazzato sulla griglia per asciugare i piatti nell'armadietto a destra fuori campo (lo si vede nel riflesso sul peperone poggiato sul tagliere).
L'intenzione era di simulare la lampada che solitamente hanno le cucine per illuminare il banco. Tale lampada c'era, ma non abbastanza potente da bilanciare la luce esterna che entrava dalla finestra a sinistra.
Col senno di poi avrei potuto mettere un pannellino per farne rimbalzare di più in alto, ma forse avrei perso l'effetto realistico.
Inoltre, nelle foto che pubblico - a meno di rare eccezioni - tolgo attenzione dal viso, altrimenti distrae dal resto.
Un test pratico che faccio per decidere se pubblicare una foto non in primo piano è mettere un dito a coprire il viso e poi osservare se la foto è ancora "interessante".
Il mio motto potrebbe essere: "più torte e meno ciliegine".
