I was about to buy a Praktica as the first reflex camera, recommended by a local dealer, then on holiday in Pesaro I found the Yashica FX3 at a much cheaper price.... 8-)

Le Praktica had my father in the store, they didn't have an exhibition meter, and I didn't understand how to measure light. But they've been the battlehorses for so many.

I just remember that the shopkeeper in Pesaro told me that that model of Praktica was outdated and that, if I really wanted it, he could get it for me within two days. He then explained the Pros of the Yashica against the somewhat outdated functions of the other camera and then I convinced myself and bought the Yashica.

In fact, I remember it happened to my father, they preferred the others, even if the quality of the lens and the robustness were not bad. He sold them because they cost less than the others.

:-D Because? made in Europe, no all-mechanical electronics and that means immortal. A mechanical component can be redone the electronics no. And then valuable optics. :-D
