Poco fuori a Vestmanna si trova questo torrente, con delle cascate e un "monte" alle spalle. Sta nevicando fortissimo ed é quasi impossibile fotografare, anche a causa dei forti venti. Piazzo il cavalletto, trovo la giusta composizione e mi vedo costretto a non utilizzare la lastra, perché é impossibile mantenerla pulita. Tolgo il coperchio e l'obiettivo si riempie di neve dopo neanche 3 secondi. Sono un po' demoralizzato perché non riesco fisicamente a scattare. Prendo un panno, pulisco il vetro e velocemente imposto la macchina per tentare l'effetto setoso dell'acqua anche senza filtro. Non riesco a fare un bracketing, la neve mi arriva negli occhi, il vento mi sposta e le mani mi si congelano. Decido quindi di fare una sola esposizione e incrocio le dita. Faccio qualche scatto senza neanche avere la possibilità di rivedere dalla schermo il risultato. Dopo ore su photoshop questo é il risultato.
