Ciao Clara, l'airone bianco maggiore ha becco giallo-arancione d'inverno. Nel periodo riproduttivo il becco si colora di nero, ma cambia il colore delle zampe: da nere diventano gialle-arancioni. Questo come si vede dalla tua splendida foto sta invertendo i colori.
A quanto pare pertanto questa foto l'avrai scattata intorno a fine febbraio inizi marzo, considerato che l'airone comincia a costruire il nido ad aprile. Naturalmente ci sono le eccezioni e posso sbagliarmi.
Fammi sapere se il mio ragionamento ha fondamento
Rispetto alla foto una parola sola "artistica" per posa e colori. Devi essere proprio una buona perchè in fotografia le donne non hanno una gran dimestichezza con i volatili.

Hello Clara, the great white heron beak is yellow-orange in winter. In the breeding season the bill is colored black, but it changes the color of the legs: from black turn yellow-orange. This as you can see from your beautiful photos is inverting the colors.
It seems therefore that the photo you have taken around the end of February early March, since the heron begins to build the nest in April. Of course there are exceptions, and I may be wrong.
Let me know if my reasoning is well-founded
Compared to the photo one word "art" to pose and colors. You must be really good in photography because women do not have a great familiarity with the birds.

ll'oggettoindistruttibile ha fatto un buon ragionamento, ma il periodo non coincide.Questo penso che quasi sicuramente sia dovuto al fatto che non ho scattato qs foto in Italia, ma sul Mar Rosso nel mese di luglio quanto le temperature non coincidono con le nostre. Forse la diversa latitudine fa la differenza. Grazie ancora.

ll'oggettoindistruttibile did a good argument, but the period coincide.Questo not think it almost certainly is due to the fact that I did not take photos qs in Italy, but the Red Sea in July as temperatures do not coincide with ours. Perhaps the different latitude makes a difference. Thank you again.
