La fontana più imponente e scenografica della villa, per la grande quantità di acqua e i potenti zampilli che proiettano in aria alti schizzi , è anche la più recente: fu realizzata nel 1927 ad opera di Attilio Rossi, con la collaborazione dell'ingegner Emo Salvati, restaurando la precedente cascata del Bernini fortemente degradata da due secoli circa di abbandono, e riorganizzando i vari livelli. Il profilo della fontana berniniana, che si può ammirare nelle incisioni del Venturini e nei disegni di Fragonard, divenne un modello per numerose fontane settecentesche, comprese quelle della celebre Reggia di Caserta.
