Beghine e begardi sono i nomi che, a partire dal XIII secolo, furono utilizzati per indicare membri di associazioni religiose formatesi al di fuori della struttura gerarchica della Chiesa cattolica con lo scopo di una rinascita spirituale della persona tramite una vita monastica ma senza voti. Sembra incredibile che esistessero persone così ma a Bruges (Belgio) un piccolo quartiere è abitato solo da loro e la sera viene chiuso con cancelli. Difficile vedere qualcuna di loro e soprattutto vederla sorridere accorgendosi di essere fotografata. Scusate per la qualità ma è stato un attimo e non avrei avuto un'altra possibilità.
