Wonderful the whole series, congratulations on the idea of taking advantage of the blurring of the 300 F2.8, I really like it, congratulations... hello Piergiorgio.

Thank you Giorgio!
The 300, as you can imagine, requires a "financial commitment" not by little, at least for me, but since I bought it, now 5 years ago, I have practically never detached it from the D800. Paradoxically it is a multifaceted optics, pass me the term, as I use it for portraiture, birdlife (at least with non-small subjects), macro set and even landscape, under certain conditions of course. I'm really satisfied. Lately I use practically only fixed from the mythical fifty f1.8 to 105 micro for macros set in addition to the mentioned 300.
Thanks for the visit and especially for the welcome comment.
a greeting.
Marco.

Thanks to Te Marco for the courteous answer,I share word for word what you have written, I also own the 300 F2.8 II of Canon for 4 months and I consider it the best optics possessed so far, I never came up with the idea to use it as you do,thank you for the idea proposed, I think I will try it.
A warm greeting.... Piergiorgio.

Good job then Piergiorgio, I saw that you are very well "armed" optically!
A warm greeting to you, too.
Marco.
