Il fiume separa una riva dall'altra e insieme unisce lungo il suo corso. E' il "luogo" dell'incontro, della socialità, della comunicazione. Il cuore di una vita che in mille modi pulsa. Qui siamo nel nord-ovest dello Zambia, dove il possente Zambesi, il quarto fiume più lungo dell'Africa, è ancora un modesto corso d'acqua. Difficile immaginare che, 2.000 km. più in là darà vita alle spettacolari Cascate Vittoria.
