Situazione " fantastica " !!
Un occasione che capita raramente; è successo solo ad Etosha di vedere dei leoni che mangiavano un elefante ma tanto tempo fa e poi un po' troppo lontano per fare foto decenti..

E' spettacolare il contrasto tra la durezza della scena e l'espressione 'tenera' del cucciolo!
Per Red Roby, gli elefanti non sono la preda preferita dei leoni, ma in occasioni particolari li possono attaccare. In Botswana fino qualche anno fa c'era un branco specializzato nella caccia agli elefanti (in uno dei documentari della BBC Plane Earth era ripreso un attacco...)

Red Roby, elephants are not the preferred prey of lions, but on special occasions they may attack. In Botswana until a few years ago there was a bunch specializes in hunting for elephants (in one of the BBC documentary Plane Earth had recovered an attack ...)
