Durante la settimana di permanenza alle Canarie, ci siamo imbattuti in un fenomeno di cui ignoravo quasi completamente l'esistenza: Calima. Si tratta di una particolare condizione atmosferica che si manifesta quando il vento di scirocco porta la sabbia del Sahara sui cieli di Fuerteventura e Lanzarote in particolar modo. La sostanza? Un cielo colmo di foschia giallognola orribile. Ci aspettavamo cieli tersi con le nuvolette bianche e ci siamo ritrovati nello smog della pianura padana! Di fatto, dopo l'alba che si vede in questa foto, abbiamo portato a casa praticamente il nulla! Passando alla foto, qui ci siamo intrufolati in mezzo alla lava nei pressi del paese El Golfo dove, tra le colate di lava nera che sembrana inghiottire anche la luce del fioco sole nascente, sono nati brillanti questi arbusti verde smeraldo. Pochi scatti poi il cielo è tornato giallognolo!
